About Us
The Rangeley Region Sport Shop has been serving fly tyers and fly fishers since 1945 with quality gear and supplies. The Rangeley area is famous for its native brook trout and landlock salmon. Many of the waters are fly fishing only. (We do also carry some trolling and spin fishing gear and supplies.) We have a team of licensed Maine guides to help in your fishing adventure. Locally tied flies set us apart from many other shops. All our patterns are tied in Maine or New Hampshire, many right here in the shop.
What we do
We carry top lines such as Sage, Orvis, Douglas, Rio, and Redington for fly fishing needs. Tyers can choose from products by Collins, Whiting, Renzetti, Regal, Wapsi, Hareline, and more.
