The Tualatin Valley Chapter of Trout Unlimited is a coldwater fisheries conservation organization dedicated to protecting the native runs of trout and salmon that define our wild heritage. We have over 700 members throughout the Portland area living west of the Willamette River. We focus our main conservation efforts on the local watersheds within the Tualatin Valley, the Necanicum River (near Seaside) and the Clackamas River area. Though we have many projects our main local effort is the highly publicized and popular Christmas for Coho program recycling used Christmas trees for salmon and steelhead rearing habitat throughout a number of our home waters. Our chapter meetings are held at the Old Market Pub and Restaurant in Garden Home on the second Wednesday of each month. Socialization begins about 6:30 pm followed by the meeting at 7:00 pm. The address is 6959 SW Multnomah Blvd, Portland Oregon 97223.
