FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

Fly Dreamers joins TU as its newest corporate partner

WASHINGTON, D.C.Trout Unlimited and the online fly fishing community Fly Dreamers announced today that Fly Dreamers is TUs newest corporate partner.

Fly Dreamers, an online community hub for millions of fly fishers from around the world, was founded on the premise of promoting catch-and-release fly fishing worldwide, and helping anglers accomplish their fly fishing goals by allowing them to network with each other and those in the fly fishing industry.

Were really proud to announce our collaboration with Trout Unlimited, said Nicolas Schwint, co-founder and CEO of Fly Dreamers. It means a lot to us to partner with the fly fishing worlds leading conservation organization thats dedicated to making fishing better all across North America. Its our hope that our worldwide network of fly fishers will gain exposure to TU and its work and consider becoming members of this amazing organization.

Trout Unlimited is North Americas oldest and largest coldwater fisheries conservation organization. Founded in Michigan in 1959, TU today works to protect, reconnect and restore trout and salmon habitat all across the continent, from Maine to New Mexico to Alaska. TU can claim more than 150,000 volunteer members nationwide, who contribute about 700,000 volunteer hours to TUs conservation mission each year. TU is staffed by hundreds of conservation professionals, ranging from scientists to lawyers and policy experts to angler-organizers who work from more than 30 offices across the U.S. No other conservation organization has the resources or the ability to do conservation workboth on the ground and in the halls of governmentthan TU. And while TUs work concentrates on North America, the impact of its science influences trout and salmon conservation worldwide.

Were proud to partner with Fly Dreamers, said Joel Johnson, TUs chief marketing officer and an avid angler. Fly Dreamers is where folks like me and thousands of other anglers go to get inspired and share their fishing passion. That Fly Dreamers recognizes the importance of TUs work to the goals and aspirations most fly fishers have when it comes to catching that next trophy makes this partnership truly beneficial to both organizations. By helping us to spread a conservation message and recruit new members, Fly Dreamers is helping us to make fishing better. That means more opportunities for all anglers.

Trout Unlimited and Fly Dreamers share the mission of conserving, protecting and restoring coldwater fisheries and their watersheds, so that our children can enjoy healthy fisheries in their home waters, Schwint said. We think members of our network will appreciate the good work TU does and hopefully join in TUs efforts to improve fishing all across North America. And we hope this partnership between Fly Dreamers and Trout Unlimited serves to get more anglers from the around the world interested in giving back to the fish and the places we all value.
