took action by a 5-0 vote Oct. 18
to adopt all 12 recommendations
of the Pine Forest Wilderness
Study Area (WSA) Working
Group. That action comes on the
heels of more than a year of
effort by the working group to
refine and redefine the boundaries
of the study area before recommending
that Congress officially
make the area Wilderness.
