About Us
Salmo Java was born out of a passion for fly fishing, the outdoors and coffee. Like most of our coffee names it’s a play on words. Salmo is the primary genus in the salmon family, and Java refers to coffee. All because we love chasing Atlantic salmon (Salmo salar) and lake run brown trout (Salmo trutta) in the tributaries of the Great Lakes.
We are combat veterans and outdoorsmen, we camp, backpack, climb, fly fish, deep sea fish, canoe, kayak and so much more. Our coffees are dedicated to the men and women that share in these passions.
What we do
We select coffees from around the world and roast them to perfection. It is coffee roasted by outdoors people for outdoors people.
