Support JHTU and the Snake River Headwaters Through Old Bill's Fun Run

Jackson Hole Trout Unlimited is honored to once again be participating in Old Bill’s Fun Run. Thanks to this community’s incredible support of our coldwater fisheries, after launching the Snake River Headwaters Home Rivers Initiative just over a year ago – an ambitious effort to build upon TU’s strong foundation in the Jackson Hole area and increase our capacity to complete restoration and reconnection work on an even larger scale – we have made an incredible impact, with over eight active projects currently underway in the Upper Snake watershed.

These projects seek to improve fish passage and instream habitat for native Snake River cutthroat trout in our treasured headwater streams including the Gros Ventre River, Fish Creek, Game Creek, Spread Creek, Hoback River, and Salt River. Your support enables us to provide crucial seed funding to initiate projects, which is then matched by grant funding (typically at a ratio of 15:1 or better) to bring them to completion. In addition, we’ve educated the next generation of coldwater conservation stewards through our Jackson Adopt-a-Trout program, and engaged community members by offering more ways to get involved with our on-the-ground work.

Please consider a gift to Trout Unlimited – Jackson Hole to continue to build on this momentum and support your local chapter’s other new and exciting efforts. For more information, visit jacksonhole.tu.org.
