Wyoming ACP Coordinator
Angler Conservation Program
Liz Rose is Trout Unlimited’s Wyoming Field Coordinator for the Sportsmen’s Conservation Project. Liz is an “adult-onset” hunter and angler; a sometimes-serious trail runner; and an appreciator of short, slow dog walks with her wild old shepherd Indy. Her lifelong love of rivers, mountains, fish, and wildlife led her to join the TU team in 2020 to focus on protecting Wyoming fish, water resources, and fishing opportunities. Her work in Wyoming includes protection of the Greater Little Mountain Area, tracking bills during the state legislative session, and working closely with local stakeholders on future public land and water-focused campaigns. She recently earned a master’s degree in Environmental Policy from U.C. Boulder after having worked as a geoscientist in the oil and gas industry in Houston and Denver, and for the U.S. Geological Survey in California.
