I just thought I would throw out a few tips for gearing for your Fly Fishing trip to Northern NM. You can easily get away with fishing most of our rivers with a 9' 4wt. Hey all! We have a number of issues with poachers on our three sections of private waters we guide on. It is a very rural area where this upper section of the river is located and a lot of the locals do not respect the boundaries. We constantly have to keep our eyes out for poachers.
