When people think about Trout Unlimited, they often conjure thoughts of trout, sure, but also river restoration, tree plantings, river cleanups, salmon, steelhead, and a multitude of other things.
But our advocacy work in D.C. is just as critical to this work. TU staff such as Lindsay Slater, TU’s vice president of government affairs, often don suits to walk the halls of Congress advocating for funding, legislation, and whatever else is necessary to get the work done in the field.
