Big snow melting early in NW Montana

Even though the northwest part of Montana got a lot of snow this year it’s melting off early, which may still pose a threat to summer flows and fishing. Guides in Montana are communicating to ensure the fishing community understands that, just because the area has had a good winter doesn’t mean the bounty will last through the summer.

What’s more, the guiding community is noticing more long-term impacts to Montana’s fisheries from climate change.
