In case you missed it, during his 2017 State of TU address, Chris Wood personally pledged $1,000 to the GRTU Tomorrow Fund and asked those gathered to follow his lead.

The GRTU Tomorrow Fund is a decade-long effort that began in 2017 to raise $40K per year for TU’s Headwaters Youth Program. You are not hearing things: Guadalupe River of TU (GRTU) has committed $100,000 over 10 years as a matching fund challenge to chapters, councils, corporations, and individuals to give to inspiring the next generation of conservation leaders.

Even more exciting, to kick-start our first year of fundraising, GRTU pledged an extra $10K of matching funds. That means that every dollar donated to the Tomorrow Fund leverages one additional dollar for youth education programs in Trout Unlimited. That’s a 1:1 match.

So far, $33,480 has been raised through the GRTU Tomorrow Fund! Can you help us get to $40K by 2018? You have until December 31 to double your donation to the Headwaters Youth Program. Once we reach the New Year, the Fund resets and starts over again toward its annual goal.

Donate at www.tu.org/tomorrowfund or mail your individual/chapter/council/business donation to TU’s Headwaters Youth Program, 394 Merrimon Ave, Asheville, NC 28801.
