The Smartwool PhD Light Crew Socks are a class act.
Though socks might not appear to be an important part of one’s wardrobe, these socks provide style, comfort and practicality all in one. The seamless toe and sleek fit are styled to a fit without adding bulk in the heel or toe area.
They have a mesh panel across the top foot area which provides ventilation for long hikes or weekend adventures. The padded heel and toe area offer cushioned support for all day wear and tear and include light compression in the arch area which are an added bonus. The “Indastructawool” fabric stood up through several outings and I found my feet to be warm and cozy, and not hot and sweaty. Under waders, these socks made a day’s worth of fishing a treat…they are an A-plus.
