Carter Andrews is rabid. You can see it in his eyes. He fishes. That’s what he does. There’s no mistaking him for anything but a fisherman. This is a man who likely never thinks of anything else. Ever.
“I still get as excited today as I got when I was eight years old,” he says of fishing. “I can’t think of anything else I’d rather do.”
That much is clear. He haunts Costa Rican waters with fishing gear.
“Carter is an animal. He’s a wildman. It doesn’t matter. If it swims, Carter’s catching it,” says boat captain Brett Holden. “I don’t want to be on the other end of that hook. I can tell you that.”
