Yes, I’m jaded, given my evangelical affiliation with Trout Unlimited, but trout on top have been a lifelong obsession. Watching a fish move to take a dry, or simply watching your fly disappear amid the chaos of an aggressive trout bite … I’m moved beyond simple words every single time. Not sometimes. Every time.
I love this short film for that reason. Watching trout eat. There may not be a better way to kill three minutes.
