This showed up in my feed this week, and I just had to share it. It’s a couple of years old, but I’m of the mind that Hank Patterson is actually pretty ageless. And kudos to Orvis for bringing Hank on board to promote some new fly fishing techniques. I mean, where else would hear great testimonials, like “I bought the DVDs for my dad. Now he says he doesn’t have a daughter?”
So, if you’re interested in how to get a fly out of a tree, or how to properly “snap it,” give this short video a watch, and you’ll be reminded why those of us who fly fishing sometimes need to remind ourselves that it’s just fly fishing. And, of course, we can take comfort in the fact that, if Hank can do it, anybody can do it.
