The Elwha dams came down and fish rushed back in. Like a phoenix, the fish rose from the ashes and rebounded more quickly than many thought possible.
Like the story that’s underway on the Klamath in California, native trout, steelhead and salmon know how to make the most of a reconnected habitat.
