Part Three: Release, walks us through a bit of angling history and recommends additional reading from legendary writers of the sport. He then goes on to explain how fish respond to their environments and how an angler should react. How to find fish and a bit of fishing etiquette follow. Weinberg wraps it up with, gasp (to some anyway), how to prepare and cook the fish caught after putting all these skills to use.
Insights from famous anglers are sprinkled throughout the book, giving readers an idea of where and what these icons like to fish for as a means of inspiration.
From his home and studio in the Catskills of New York, Weinberg drew upon his background of creating children’s books to create The Fly Fishing Book, much to the delight of anglers young and old and from beginner to advanced.
