Trout Unlimited is a community of people who care deeply about rivers and streams, about their trout and salmon populations—and about each other. We use social media to educate, inspire, advocate, and connect people who are working to care for and recover waters across the country.
To keep our spaces welcoming and respectful, we expect all participants on TU-operated digital platforms (including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, TU.org, and others) to follow these simple guidelines:
1. Be respectful.
We welcome healthy debate and diverse perspectives, but personal attacks, bullying, or harassment of any kind will not be tolerated.
2. No hate speech or discriminatory language.
We do not allow comments that target people based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, or any other protected characteristic.
3. Keep it clean.
We reserve the right to hide or delete posts with profanity, graphic content, or offensive language.
4. Stay on topic.
Please keep discussions relevant to the original post and to Trout Unlimited’s mission. Spam, repetitive comments, or off-topic promotions will be removed.
5. No threats or dangerous behavior.
Threats of violence, harassment, or any other behavior that endangers others will result in immediate removal and may be reported to the proper authorities.
Violations
We reserve the right to delete comments, restrict users, or ban accounts that violate these guidelines. In serious cases, we may report behavior to the platform or law enforcement.
