Ralph A. MacMullan Conference Center– Roscommon, MI (1 hour outside of Traverse City)

TU Regional Rendezvous are exciting weekends filled with conservation, fly fishing, and camaraderie. This is your chance to connect with TU leaders, fishing enthusiasts, and conservationists while enjoying dynamic sessions, inspiring discussions, and hands-on activities.

Food & Beverage, Lodging and Meeting facilities are all inclusive in your ticket. Full weekend ticket inclusions will be found on the ticket page. There is very limited lodging available on site at the RAM center, so purchase your ticket early to reserve your spot! We will begin selling day tickets and one night lodging based on availability in a few months.

We’re gathering at the historic RAM Center, along Higgins Lake, just minutes from the legendary Au Sable River, where Trout Unlimited was founded in 1959. This isn’t just a beautiful place to fish—it’s the cradle of fly-fishing conservation. When you’re here, you’re walking in the footsteps of the pioneers who sparked a national movement to protect wild trout and cold, clean water. Early May in Northern Michigan is prime time for the beginning of epic spring hatches. Brook trout and browns are active and Hendricksons, blue-winged olives, and early stones are on the menu.

This intimate powerful weekend will be full of conservation leaders from across the Great Lakes, guest speakers and anglers alike. You’ll leave feeling energized, connected, and ready to lead.

Event Highlights:

  • Local fishing, a showing of the IF4 film, hands-on conservation projects

  • Sessions will include TU updates, local projects, chapter revitalization strategies, leadership development, and more!

Why Attend?

  • Unique location nestled on the shores of Higgins Lake, surrounded by state forest land, the RAM Center offers an immersive outdoor experience.
  • Proximity to World-Class Trout Streams: Au Sable River and Manistee River, both nearby, are legendary trout streams in Michigan and the Midwest. The Holy Waters section of the Au Sable is a catch-and-release, fly-only zone prized for its healthy wild trout populations.
  • The RAM Center offers modern facilities in a remote-feeling setting, perfect for focused work without distractions, yet it’s still accessible from major parts of Michigan and nearby states.
  • Networking: Meet fellow TU leaders and conservationists from across the Southeast
  • Inspiration and Learning: Gain valuable insights from experts and peers while advancing TU’s work for coldwater conservation.
